Growing from its first home in Batley, West Yorkshire, KUFIC has always pushed boundaries. Our team of Architects are members of both the Royal Institute of British Architects, as well as the Architects Registration Board, and collectively bring a wealth of experience to the studio.


Upper Road

Batley, West Yorkshire

A tight infill site which historically hosted a fish & chip shop, our developer Client sought to redevelop the site to generate a scheme which would maximise return. KUFIC helped deliver a scheme which cleverly incorporated 3 contemporary town houses on the site, with well proportioned elevations and an animated interior.

Sheepfoot Lane

Prestwich, Manchester

Following the successful delivery of a similar project on Sheepfoot Lane, KUFIC was appointed to remodel and extend an existing detached private house. We established the requirements of our Client and in remodelling and extending the house, were able to design a series of spaces which met their wishes, creating a truly unique home .

Completion due 2020.

Transvaal Terrace

Batley, West Yorkshire

Formerly a nursing home, KUFIC were able to partially demolish and extensively remodel the fabric of this building to revert it to its original Victorian use; 6 houses. Located in Upper Batley conservation area, the site presented various challenges which KUFIC were able to overcome to help our Client deliver impressive housing units for the private market.

Nowell Street

Dewsbury, West Yorkshire

Situated within the Northfields Conservation area, Oxford Road boasts an eclectic mix of Victorian villas. KUFIC were appointed to design a place of worship for the community, to replace an existing facility. The design successfully marries the Victorian character of the street with modern detailing to compliment the historic character of the area.
