Dewsbury, West Yorkshire

Situated within the Northfields Conservation area, Oxford Road boasts an eclectic mix of Victorian villas. KUFIC were appointed by a mosque committee to design an enhanced place of worship for the community, to replace an existing age-expired facility. The design successfully marries the Victorian character of the street with modern detailing to compliment the heritage of the area. 

We worked closely alongside our Client to overcome several hurdles through the planning process and secure, albeit after 5 years, consent for this new Mosque. We are currently helping to deliver the project on site. Like Masjid Talha, KUFIC have been commissioned on several challenging schemes and are able to provide the time and energy to see them over the line.
